Job Summary
We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and Hybrid Infrastructure (Cloud + On-Premises) to build, automate, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available platforms. Experience with Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) platforms is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, Self-Managed, and On-Premises).
- Build, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and support hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and CloudWatch.
- Ensure infrastructure security by implementing IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and network security policies.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to streamline deployments and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Optimize infrastructure for scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies across environments.
- Develop and enforce DevOps best practices, automation standards, and operational procedures.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and capacity planning requirements.
- Support containerization initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability, security, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster administration and management.
- Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, S3, and RDS.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Proficiency in scripting using Bash.
- Working knowledge of Python scripting and automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience managing production environments with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and security teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
Certifications
Preferred: Kubernetes Certification such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS is preferred.Personality
